Working since the mid 90’s, working with the Transmitton Micropower equipment and the Andover Controls AC range. We gathered skills in engineering and configuring of these systems.

This enabled us to understand the industry and what is required to ensure the end user has the best functionality, and the required visibility of critical areas within their systems/buildings, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Moving through time to the Andover Controls Infinity Range, using software such as Windows NT, OS/2 Warp and protocols including Arcnet, Ethernet, Netbeui, TCP/IP, Coax, Fibre, continuing to the Eclipse Range of controllers, NetConrollers, Infinet networks.

Through our continuous exposure to these controllers, we have been able to build a complete offer based around any benefits and/or constraints due to the product and/or protocol being used.

We are more than just your graphics delivery expert. We are experienced in all aspects of project delivery and worked in all areas of the system.

For example.

  • What are the differences between nvi and nvo points in LonWorks?

  • Why do we need to know which priority level a BACnet point is being controlled at?

  • Can your end user easily see if a point is not in automatic (forced)? If so, can they tell if it is through software/hardware?

  • Do they know if a site visit is required to release manual control from equipment?

  • Do they have the part number to hand to send spares with a call out engineer.

We can help with all this. Giving the best experience to the user, regardless of the system that is installed. Even on upgrades, we offer a complete solution that gives like for like behaviour and functionality, *wherever possible.

The functionality may be the same but needs to be engineered differently. All the end user wants is the same key / button / action to carry out a task. Andrawn Professional Services make this, and even more, possible with our extensive wealth of knowledge.

*Functionality can only be matched/created where the ability is within the installed product. For example, an output from a controller may not show its true value at the terminals when the hardware is in a hand position. In this instance we will offer a visual indication that the output has been forced but inform the user that the value may not be the actual ‘live’ value. This can be achieved in many ways but will be wholly based on the requirements of the contract / end-user’s request.
